2. General information and obligatory information
Data protection
The operator of this website takes the protection of your personal data very seriously. We treat your personal data as confidential and in accordance with the statutory data-protection provisions as well as this Data Protection Declaration.
When you use this website, various pieces of personal data are collected. “Personal data” is data by which you can be personally identified. This Data Protection Declaration explains what data we collect and what we use it for. It also explains how this is done, and for what purpose.
We would like to point out that data transfer on the Internet (e.g. when communicating by email) might not be entirely secure. It is not possible to entirely safeguard data against access by third parties.
Information about the party responsible
The party responsible for the data processing on this website is:
Mühlhause GmbH
Auf'm Angst 9-10
D-42553 Velbert
Telephone: 02053 9804-0
Email: info@muehlhause.de
The party responsible is the natural person who or legal entity which alone or together with another party decides about the purpose and means of the processing of personal data (e.g. names, email addresses, or similar).
Revocation of your consent to data processing
Many data-processing actions are only possible if you have given your express consent thereto. You can revoke at any time consent which has already been granted. An informal message by email to us is sufficient for this purpose. The revocation does not affect the lawfulness of the data processing which was done until the revocation.
Objection right to data collection in special cases as well as to direct advertising (Article 21 of the GDPR)
If the data processing is done on the basis of Article 6 paragraph 1 e or f of the GDPR, you have the right at all times to file an objection to the processing of your personal data, for reasons which arise from your special situation; this applies also for any profiling based on these provisions. You can see in this Data Protection Declaration the respective legal basis on which processing is done. If you file an objection, we will no longer process the personal data pertaining to you, unless we can prove mandatory protection-worthy reasons for the processing which outweigh your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing serves in the assertion, exercise or defence of legal claims (objection pursuant to Article 21.1 of the GDPR).
If your personal data is processed in order to execute direct advertising, then you have the right to file an objection at any time to the processing of the personal data pertaining to you for the purposes of such advertising; this also applies for profiling, insofar as this is associated with such direct advertising. If you object, your personal data will subsequently no longer be used for the purpose of direct advertising (objection pursuant to Article 21.2 of the GDPR).
Right to complain to the pertinent supervisory authorities
In the event of breaches of the GDPR, the party affected is entitled to a right to complain to a supervisory authority, particularly in the member state of his or her usual place of residence, their place of work, or the location of the alleged breach. The complaint right exists irrespective of other administrative-law or judicial legal remedies.
Right to data transferability
You have the right to delivery - to you or to a third party - in a common, machine-readable format of data which we process in an automated manner on the basis of your consent or in fulfilment of a contract. Insofar as you request a direct transfer of the data to another party responsible, this is done only insofar as this is technically feasible.
SSL and TLS encryption
This website uses SSL or TLS encryption for security reasons and in order to protect the transfer of confidential content, such as orders or enquiries which you send to us as the website operator. You can recognise an encrypted connection by virtue of the fact that the address line of the browser changes from “Fehler! Hyperlink-Referenz ungültig.” to “Fehler! Hyperlink-Referenz ungültig.” and a lock symbol appears in your browser bar.
If SSL or TLS encryption is activated, the data which you send to us cannot be read en route by third parties.
Information, blocking, deletion and correction
You have the right at any time in the framework of the applicable statutory provisions to receive free-of-charge information about your saved personal data, its origin, recipients, and the purpose of the data processing, and where applicable a right to correction, blocking or deletion of this data. For this purpose, as well as if you have any other questions regarding the subject of personal data, you can approach us at any time at the address given in the imprint.
Right to restrict processing
You have the right to request restriction of the processing of your personal data. For this purpose, you can approach us at any time at the address given in the imprint. There is a right to restrict processing in the following cases:
- If you dispute the correctness of your personal data saved by us, we usually need time to check this. For the duration of the checking process, you have the right to request restriction of the processing of your personal data.
- If the processing of your personal data was done or is being done unlawfully, you can request restriction of the data processing rather than deletion.
- When we no longer require your personal data, but you need it in order to exercise, defend or assert legal claims, you have the right to request restriction of the processing of your personal data rather than deletion.
- If you have filed an objection pursuant to Article 21.1 of the GDPR, there must be a weighing up of your interests and our interests. Until it is certain whose interests prevail, you have the right to request restriction of the processing of your personal data.
If you have restricted the processing of your personal data, this data may – apart from its storage – only be processed with your consent or for the assertion, exercise or defence of legal claims or for the protection of the right of another natural person or legal entity or for reasons of an important public interest of the European Union or a member state.
