Just offering a good price is no longer enough to satisfy the customer of today. So we at Mühlhause specialise in accompanying projects throughout the entire process. Our experienced project managers are well prepared when speaking to our customers, quick to provide a quotation based on the data supplied in the customer’s enquiry and able to provide support in the development of the product right from the start.

Cost-Effective Production Thanks to Latest Simulation Software

Thanks to the latest simulation software, we are able to recognise long before production starts how to manufacture in the most cost-effective way and where during manufacture problems might arise.  Besides optimising the use of materials, we also analyse material behaviour and show where material thinning or compression/buckling may occur at a later date. From the data gained, we can draw conclusions and pass these on to the customer together with suggestions for improvements. In this way, we increase process reliability right from the start.

During the entire production process, from planning right through to packaging and delivery, our customers can rely on competent contacts, an experienced team and proven concepts. For all our contracts, we carry out liquidity and investment planning.

Reliability Ensured Through Mirrored Production Facilities

In the worst case scenario (of a failure), Mühlhause has the perfect emergency plan available for their customers. Since the year 2012, the company has a second production site “Velbert-Mitte” on Langenberger Straße. Barely two kilometres from the Tönisheide headquarters, the site is logistically closely connected to it, but works fully independently with similar production capacity. Mühlhause therefore has a redundant production site, which greatly increases functional and operational reliability and protects against failure. Additionally, we have further rented storage areas that are perfectly located close-by between these two sites.

Both our production sites are able to complement each other or even replace each other in the event of an emergency.

Competence, Protection and Responsibility

Our quality management system is certified in accordance with IATF 16949. Our quality assurance is supported by the comprehensive use of a CAQ system.

We at Mühlhause take responsibility vis-à-vis the environment. Considerate usage of resources, environmentally compatible production and constant improvements are among some of the requirements specified in our environment management system. We have set out our aims and our procedures relevant to the environment in our handbook. Acceptance and effectiveness of this system have now been confirmed by certification in accordance with EN ISO 14001:2015. In addition to the QM certification, this is an important building block for sustainable business activities and economic success.
